Top Sunningdale Hole by hole

Championship tees: 6607 yards, Par 70. Medal tees 6341 yards, Par 70.

1st hole
(Champ and Medal 494yd Par 5) Keep your second shot to the right of the pin - the slope brings the ball in.

2nd hole
(Champ 471yd Medal 456yd Par 4) Hit your tee shot down the left so you can see the bottom of the flag.

3rd hole
(Champ 323yd Medal 296yd Par 4) The green slopes away to the back and right and needs the most delicate of chips to get the ball close.

4th hole
(Champ and Medal 161yd Par 3) Played uphill, you may well need one more club than the distance suggests.

5th hole
(Champ 410yd Medal 400yd Par 4) Aim your tee shot at the lake to gain the best line into the green.

6th hole
(Champ 415yd Medal 388yd Par 4) Take care with your approach shot to this well guarded tricky green.

7th hole
(Champ 409yd Medal 383yd Par 4) The best line to the green is from the right side. But beware of the out of bounds.

8th hole
(Champ 182yd Medal 172yd Par 3) Concentrate hard while putting - the green is fast and has subtle borrows.

9th hole
(Champ 280yd Medal 267yd Par 4) Aim at the left half of the green to avoid the three bunkers on the right.

10th hole
(Champ 473yd Medal 463yd Par 4) Make sure you play straight - three well placed bunkers threaten your drive.

11th hole
(Champ 325yd Medal 299yd Par 4) Beware of the bunkers and ditch on the right if you attempt to drive the green.

12th hole
(Champ 451yd Medal 423yd Par 4) Play to the safe side of the green on the left - there's a big drop on the right.

13th hole
(Champ 185yd Medal 178yd Par 3) Don't overshoot the green - grassy hollows make the chip back difficult.

14th hole
(Champ 509yd Medal 477yd Par 5) Keep your tee shot in the left half of the fairway to avoid the lone bunker right.

15th hole
(Champ and Medal 226yd Par 3) Be sure you take enough club at this long challenging par 3.

16th hole
(Champ 443yd Medal 423yd Par 4) Aim your second shot to the right half of the green as the ground slopes left towards a deep bunker.

17th hole
(Champ and Medal 421yd Par 4) Keep your tee shot close to the bunkers on the right. The slope of the ground throws the ball away behind trees on the left.

18th hole
(Champ 429yd Medal 414yd Par 4) Be straight - gorse right and a lone bunker left can cause big problems.
